Warwards of Wappenshaw

Widgetaria, a land consumed by war and the political weight of the warcraft corporations that wage it, has fallen into an uneasy peace through most of the realm. The great machines of battle, so fearsome and powerful in their destruction of the enemy, have fallen into disrepair from neglect as the war has been largely forgotten.

Now, in the hinterlands of Wappenshaw, there still remain fiercely competitive alliances that battle for final control of the last remaining free wards. The rusting hulks of the war machines lie in pieces about the battlefields as garrisons of human warriors fight among the remains of ancient battles.

Communications, always meager at best, still rely on archaic methods developed by the corporations. The buttons, originally programmed to control the machines and now used to lead the garrisons, are all that remain to aid the high command as they form plot and strategy in a effort to gain precious ground. You are the key in that effort. Without you, the commands never reach the battlefield and your army risks being quickly overrun.
